What do you do when you have left a few red wines open too long & they have gone bad?
Well, I decided to dye some yarn up with it!
skeins were dyed on a few different bases for this batch.
I just love the color it created & so wish it was 100% repeatable - but I just don't know if I will have the exact combination of left over wines again (nor recall exactly how much of what I threw into the color).
***This is hand-dyed yarn and as such no skein will be exactly the same***
About the Yarn Bases:
- Lace weight Mohair/Silk
- 72% Kid Mohair, 28% Mulberry Silk
- 459 yds / 50 g
- 1 ply
- Hand-wash gently in cold water & lay flat to dry
- DK SW Merino/Silk:
- DK (3) weight
- 70% Superwash Merino, 30% silk
- 231 yds / 100 g
- 4 ply
- Hand-wash gently in cold water & lay flat to dry
